Welcome to Domaine de Locguénolé, part of the Beautiful Life Hotels group. Nestling in the heart of over twenty-five hectares of wooded parkland, with a breathtaking view over the Ria du Blavet (the inlet of the sea that runs alongside the property), Domaine de Locguénolé welcomes you to a unique setting conducive to calm and serenity. It comprises 4 unique buildings with a strong identity. An elegant 19th century castlea 18th-century Breton-style manor house, L'Orangerie opening onto the swimming pool and le Clubwhich once housed the stables.
A member of Relais & Châteaux since 1970, our house is also and above all an emblematic site in Brittany which is now opening a new chapter in its history after three years of renovation.
The premises have been completely redesigned to offer a completely new experience in a setting inspired by the Indian Route, a nod to the history of Lorient.

An embarrassment of riches...
Freshly renovated, Le Domaine de Locguénolé draws its inspiration from the themes of travel and the Compagnie des Indes. The 46 rooms and suites on the estate are divided between the 4 main buildings: le Château, le Manoir, L'Orangerie and le Club. Each building has its own distinctive character and unique décor.

Our restaurants & bar
The Domaine de Locguénolé vibrates to the rhythm of its guests and invites you to experience a true culinary voyage.
Locguénolé's two restaurants are run by the same chef, Yann MAGET, a young and talented chef who trained with some of the great names in Paris and San Francisco, and who had the privilege of becoming Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2023. L'Inattendugastronomic table and Michelin-starredlocated in the splendid glass roof nestling under the wing of the Château, offers a fine bourgeois cuisine that nevertheless leaves plenty of room for the unexpected!
La Maison AlyetteThe bistro on the ground floor of the château also boasts an exceptional setting, with a panoramic terrace overlooking the clearing and the sea below. In the kitchen, the recipes are traditional, generous and tasty... and everyone agrees.
Just like restaurants, L'Apparatour pocket bar, cultivates originality and invites you to travel. The hushed setting of the lounges is conducive to conviviality and sharing, values that are dear to Locguénolé.
L'Apparat is the place to be for mixology enthusiasts. A little jewel set in a wooden case, the counter at L'Apparat seems to be suspended in levitation. The small room opens onto the balcony of the château, a veritable lookout point from which you can enjoy a unique view of the sea, which sways with the tides. With its daring cocktails, selection of fine spirits and Indian teas from the best terroirs, L'Apparat offers a suspended moment...

The Spa Macha is a feminist tribute to the Celtic goddess who protected horses. It's a haven of peace in the heart of nature, with its decor inspired by the equestrian world.
It's a theme close to Locguénolé's heart, as the building housed the estate's stables until the middle of the last century.
Today, it's a cosy cocoon offering relaxation and serenity, a bucolic retreat that you'll be delighted to discover, where you can entrust yourself to the good care of attentive therapists and cosmetics that resonate with the place...
