An emblematic site in Morbihan, between sea and forest, the Domaine embodies a Breton art of living where heritage, nature and hospitality meet. It is made up of 4 unique buildings with a strong identity: an elegant 19th century castlea 18th century Breton-style manor house, The Orangery opening onto the swimming pool and le Club, formerly the stables.
A member of Relais & Châteaux since 1970, our hotel is now opening a new chapter in its history, following a three-year renovation programme to enhance its heritage and local roots. The premises have been redesigned to offer a contemporary experience, inspired by the Route des Indes, echoing the maritime history of Lorient and Brittany.

Freshly renovated, Le Domaine de Locguénolé draws its inspiration from the themes of travel and the East India Company. Most of the estate's rooms are in 3 main buildings: the Château, the Manoir and the Club. Each building has its own distinctive character and unique decor.

Our restaurants & bar
The Domaine de Locguénolé vibrates to the rhythm of its guests and invites you to experience a true culinary voyage.
Locguénolé's two restaurants are run by the same chef, Yann MAGET, a young and talented chef who trained with some of the great names in Paris and San Francisco, and who had the privilege of becoming Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2023. L'Inattendugastronomic table and Michelin-starred, located in the splendid glass roof nestling under the wing of the Château, offers fine bourgeois cuisine that still leaves plenty of room for the unexpected! The cuisine features seasonal produce and Breton know-how, in close collaboration with local producers, fishermen and craftsmen.
La Maison AlyetteMaison Alyette, the bistro on the garden level of the château, also boasts an exceptional setting, with its panoramic terrace overlooking the clearing and the sea below. In the kitchen, the recipes are traditional, generous and tasty... and everyone agrees.
Just like restaurants, L'Apparat, our pocket bar, cultivates originality and invites you to travel. The hushed setting of the lounges is conducive to conviviality and sharing, values dear to Locguénolé. L'Apparat is the place to be for mixology enthusiasts. A little jewel set in a wooden case, the counter at L'Apparat seems to be suspended in levitation. The small room opens onto the balcony of the château, a veritable lookout point from which you can enjoy a unique view of the sea, which sways with the tides. With its daring cocktails, selection of fine spirits and Indian teas from the best terroirs, L'Apparat offers a suspended moment...

The Spa Macha is a feminist tribute to the Celtic goddess who protected horses. It's a haven of peace in the heart of nature, with its decor inspired by the equestrian world.
It's a theme close to Locguénolé's heart, as the building housed the estate's stables until the middle of the last century.
Today, it's a cosy cocoon offering relaxation and serenity, a bucolic retreat that you'll be delighted to discover, where you can entrust yourself to the good care of attentive therapists and cosmetics that resonate with the place...
