The pontoon

A link to the sea

Our pontoon is the link between the property and the sea... it can be your home port for the duration of your stay with us or the starting point for iodised excursions. Escape along the shores to reach the open sea, then set off to discover the islands of Morbihan.

The menagerie

A little farmhouse atmosphere

Animals have always been part of the estate, which for many years was home to a farm and even a renowned equestrian club. Carrying on this tradition, Locguénolé wanted to preserve the presence of animals that are in perfect symbiosis with our environment and that mutually enrich each other. So you'll find chickens, goats, ducks and turkeys...

The park and gardens

A true communion with nature

Stroll through the gardens, lose yourself in the park's paths and admire the view over the Blavet...
The estate's parkland and gardens give the site its identity and charm. The bourgeois houses built on these grounds were part of a historic desire to provide them with a sublime setting. So much so that the gardens were designed by one of the most eminent landscape architects of the time, the Versailles-born André.

The vegetable garden & greenhouse

The natural treasures of the estate

Designed by Dominique, our gardener, and his son Alexandre, their purpose is to provide kitchens with fresh vegetables and aromatic plants all year round...

The orchard

The bubbles of Locguénolé

The property's orchard stretches along the edge of the woods. With around twenty particularly generous cider apple trees, the harvests are entrusted to Anthony OLLIERO of "Pré en Bulles" in Plouhinec, a cider-maker who keeps traditions alive by working with slow extractions to produce a cider with character. Our apples are harvested and processed to produce a single cuvée destined entirely for Domaine de Locguénolé, for the sole pleasure of our customers.

Beehives

The absolute nectar

The Domaine de Locguénolé is continuing its collaboration with beekeeper Cédric Lanio from Plumelin, who runs the twenty or so hives ideally situated on the edge of the woods. Nature allows us to benefit from annual harvests, in spring and summer, both of which are destined exclusively for the Domaine de Locguénolé. You'll find our honey at breakfast as well as in some of the dishes prepared in our restaurants.
